At Monogrid, we’ve shaped a series of interactive experiences for Valentino, redefining how users engage with luxury products online through micro-interactions and real-time responsiveness. Working within the constraints of Valentino’s iframe-based platform, we explored the potential of interaction as a tool for narrative, engagement, and brand distinction. From subtle gestures to fully immersive moments, each touchpoint reinterprets the codes of the Maison—translating textures, symbols, and spatial metaphors into intuitive, responsive experiences. Interaction becomes a new language for luxury: fluid, unexpected, and emotionally intelligent.
__CHERRYFIC PHASE 1
To launch the Cherryfic collection, we reimagined the digital product experience as an immersive gesture that merges interaction and identity, seamlessly embedded within Valentino.com. The experience opens with a rainfall of glossy 3D cherries. Rendered in WebGL and powered by a custom physics engine, each fruit reacts to user input: dragged, tossed, or swiped across the screen. More than a visual gimmick, the cherries become a digital metaphor, a playful symbol of spontaneity and joy, emblematic of the collection itself.
__CHERRYFIC PHASE 2

To extend the Cherryfic narrative, we introduced a second interactive moment: a 3D sliding puzzle inspired by the collection’s raffia texture. Users manipulate tiles in real time, revealing embroidered cherries as the pattern reassembles. The motion is fluid, tactile, and intuitive—bridging play and product. Fully integrated within Valentino.com, the experience turns surface detail into a spatial gesture, inviting users to explore texture as a form of storytelling.
__LE CHAT DE LA MAISON DIGITAL ACTIVATIONS
To launch Le Chat de la Maison, we developed a modular web experience integrated into Valentino.com. The star is the animated cat-shaped bag itself—brought to life through subtle movements. Its eyes follow the cursor, and its ears respond to clicks, turning product reveal into a playful interaction. As users scroll, the experience unfolds into a gallery of show looks, collection highlights, and ambient visuals. Fully 2D but animated with 3D depth, the experience is light, responsive, and unmistakably Valentino.
